I work well with my students as my service is highly personalized. I like to get to know my students upfront to best understand their learning styles and what works well for them. Understanding student's goals, academic or otherwise, is key to achieving learning outcomes. Patience and trust is crucial to foster an effective tutoring environment.
With six years of tutoring experience, I've been able to address challenging K-12 learning hurdles with a variety of different students across different topics, but I really like teaching math!
I like helping people. Plain and simple.
In my grown-up job, I work in sales. Being successful in my career is largely dependent on being a strong communicator and being able to speak on complex topics in a simple, more digestible fashion. I help clients understand their business challenges and propose solutions to best address them. Once problems are solved, clients can ultimately achieve their business's goals. Overall, it's not too different than tutoring!

Typically, I schedule a brief zoom call with new students to better understand their background, learning style, and academic goals. This conversation helps to identify areas of challenge and other topics of interest. Ultimately, we both want to feel comfortable working with one another, ensuring the relationship will be a good fit.
