Dr. Learning Science offers tutoring and parent supports for all grade/subjects (specializing in math/ELA) using cutting-edge learning science to improve content learning AND also sustain improvements over time. Our tutoring does this by helping our students learn content while also developing science-based habits to study between tutoring sessions.
Founder, Dr. Sarah Johnson has a doctorate from Harvard, is a certified high school teacher and has experience in NYC schools. She will help you learn, ace the test, and develop study skills that can be used to learn anything.
Dr. Sarah Johnson founded Dr. Learning Science Tutoring because she wants to democratize access to learning science. The field of cognitive science has taught us a great deal about how to learn but teachers don't usually use what we know works in practice.
Our passion is helping students and parents unlock the ability to learn which is already in all of us.
