What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We need to first see what the students' weaknesses are and where those weeknesses stem from. Not every student thinks or works in the same way so we will never use a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
You need to be honest about what you know and don't know and definitely don't be afraid to be wrong.
