Katie is an experienced elementary school tutor with a passion for helping students achieve academic success. With a background in education and a strong foundation in reading and math instruction, Katie is dedicated to providing personalized and engaging tutoring services to students of all ages and abilities.
As a tutor, Katie works closely with students to identify their individual needs and develop customized learning plans that address their strengths and weaknesses. Using a variety of instructional strategies and materials, Katie helps students build foundational skills in reading and math, while also fostering a love of learning and a sense of confidence in their abilities.
With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Katie is able to build positive relationships with students and families, and provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the tutoring process. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting to know them, build a foundation and relationshipa and really learn their learning style. After doing that I am able to really see how a child learns and meet their style to best meet their needs.

I am a certified K-6 teacher in NJ.

I have been teaching for 4 going on 5 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I prefer around 60$ per lesson because a lot of time and preparation would go into these lessons.
