Six years ago, I started tutoring as a part-time job in college, and I immediately fell in love with teaching and creating connections with my students. This past January, I followed my passion and began an exciting journey to tutor full- time. Despite the challenges created by this current time, I am proud of my decision to follow my dreams and help students succeed. Due to the CoVid crisis, I have adapted my teaching style to offer engaging Skype/Zoom sessions to my students. My main areas of focus are test prep for SAT, ACT, and GRE, as well as academic content, including, but not limited to, physics and all mathematics up to Calc III. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to spend at least five minutes getting to know each student to establish a dynamic connection. From there I focus on listening and establish strengths and weaknesses to best create an action plan.
