About
I have successfully tutored maths, physics and chemistry to 29 students at 21 different high schools and 26 students at 20 different universities including Harvard, Columbia, and Georgetown. I have a Ph.D. in chemistry and I taught chemistry and calculus at a community college and maths, physics and chemistry in high schools.
Many of my students achieve excellent grades after working with me. Some examples:
Georgetown University student - A in Calculus
Georgetown University student - B in Physics
Georgetown University student - A in Chemistry
Two Columbia Univerisity students - B in Physics
Two Rutgers University students - B in Organic Chemistry
Immaculata University - B in Statistics
Rockland Community College student - A in Complex Analysis
Rockland Community College student - A in Multivariable and Vector calculus
Several high school students - top marks in AP Chemistry and AP Calculus
Waldwick High School Student - B in Statistics
One high school student was valedictorian at her high school. I helped her with calculus, chemistry and physics.
All of my online students receive copies of each session's notes immediately after each lesson. My references are excellent based on customer reviews. I look forward to helping you as well.
I enjoy seeing students master material that they thought was difficult. When necessary, I review prior material so that they are comfortable with handling new problems. My students comment on the fact that I am patient and easy to work with. When the opportunity is available, I also work ahead with them, so that when that material is covered in class, they are not seeing it for the first time.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All my tutoring is done online.
I ask students what areas they are having the greatest difficulty in and we focus there. If necessary, I review previous material to provide a solid grounding in the topic.
I help the student understand how to approach a problem and provide tips and shortcuts wherever applicable.
After each session is complete, I email the student a set of notes describing what we worked on
