Kevin Baxter

I am a multi-state certified general and special education teacher with a decade of school-based teaching experience. I previously worked for ten years as a litigation attorney, and before that as a newspaper and magazine writer and editor. I'm also, and importantly, the proud father of a terrific six-year-old. I build lessons around student interests and goals. I want students to be guided by their own curiosities, and to put their personal stamp on their work. I don't lecture, but instead support through questioning, suggestions, and examples. Learning materials may be provided by the student, supplied by me, or some combination of the two.
