Born in Vietnam, a country that prioritizes education, I am inspired to make all students succeed academically and emotionally.
I would like to change the way students learn and solve math. I want them to become critical thinkers and active learners who take learning in their own hands and discover the connection between math and real life.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would have a conversation to get to know my student including background, interests, learning style. I would introduce myself as well as my teaching style. Flexibility and adaptation will take place if necessary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Rowan University in New Jersey with a double major in Education and Mathematics. I recently received my Master's Degree in Educational Technology and Online Learning. I have been teaching Math at Overbrook High School for 13 years .
