About

I have been teaching mathmatics and tutoring for 18 years. I have experience teaching and tutoring 7th grade math, 8th grade math, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry. I have taught all levels of these classes including Honors and Inclusion courses.

I enjoy working with people and helping them understand math. It is very rewarding to see someone gain an understanding of a new concept.

Mrs. Lynch is one of the best math tutors I ever met. She knows how to teach so the student understands. She goes out of her way to be available for the students and she is an extremely calm and lovely person. After working with my daughter who had grown to hate math she totally turned her around and ten years later she loves math.

Frequently asked questions

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

When working with a new student, I first try to help them with the concepts that they are currently working on. During this process, I will look for gaps in understanding that also need to be addressed. At the end of the session, I discuss the lesson with the parent/guardian and provide feedback about what they can do to help the student between tutoring sessions.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been teaching mathematics and tutoring since 2002. I have a B.A. in mathematics from Rowan University.
