About
I am currently a Department or Education public school teacher. I am certified to teach K-12 students. Outside of my full-time job I have tutored students in 1-4 grade, 8 grade, and adult ESL students. I have a love of writing and had a graduate assistantship in being a writing tutoring for other graduate students. I have also prepped students for state tests. I am passionate about helping others in general, but especially in learning and building confidence in themselves. If you are looking for someone to give 110% I am the person you are looking for!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I like to do some sort of assessment to see where the student is at. What are their strengths and where are the opportunities for growth. Then create goals to be reached. After that I like to see how long I will be working with them and create a plan on the different things we will work on with opportunities to practice these skills. Gradually adding on until we have reached our goals that we have created together!

I have a Masters degree in Education in Tesol; Numerous hours in training from Columbia Teachers College as well as Metamorphosis Math
