SAT Prep And Math Tutoring

SAT test prep consists of: a review of the basic concepts in Math, Reading and Writing, followed by some guided practice and immediate feedback and corrective approaches. Practice (homework) will be assigned and is the basis for the following session.
My program consists of 12 hours of one on one coaching, and can be done in 1 hour or 90 minute sessions.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I determine the level of mastery in prior concepts. Often, remedial work on prior concepts helps to better understand current concepts
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
i am a graduate of The College of the Holy Cross, and have taught at a small private school for 20years. During this time I also tutored hundreds of students in prep for the SAT and ACT tests. I am currently semi-retired, coaching high school cross country and tutoring SAT test prep when I can.
I have over 20 years experience as a test prep tutor.
