About
As a formerly struggling math student, I know what it is like to work hard at something and still feel frustrated because I couldn't understand it. I can pinpoint where student are disconnecting from the material, because chances are at some point in my life, I struggled in the same way.
I enjoy helping my students reach whatever goal they have set out for, whether its better grades, better test-taking skills, or just a better understanding of the subject.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Usually the first session will be a meeting with the students and parents if they would like to join in order to diagnose what the student needs help with, then we will work on what they need to know, homework or other activities they are interested in learning in sessions following that.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a business student who has taken calculus, stats, geometry, algebra, accounting and economics and has excelled in every one of the classes. I often tutored other students and led study sessions as I always knew the material the best.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Between 25-30/hour, depending on travel, difficulty and materials purchased
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students ranging from age 8 to 35, across all knowledge and ability levels! I love working with elementary and middle school students because they can learn a lot in a short amount of time, but I also enjoy working with High school students on Geometry, Algebra and ACT prep.
