About this tutor

I’m an honor rolls student going into 11th grade this school year, i specialize in math and have even taught a few of my classes. I also enjoy science quite a bit. I feel I can explain things in detail to provide better understanding. A former algebra teacher asked me to step into the hallway with a few students at a school i used to go to and help them understand the lesson better.

I enjoy the satisfaction of helping people and watching them slowly become more and more efficient with their studies. I am happy to help anyone struggling in my areas of knowledge.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’ve taught students in my classes with or without a teacher while also making honor roll

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

i typically charge about $40/hr

How did you get started teaching?

i found out in elementary school that math was very easy for me to understand, it wasn’t until about 8th grade that i started enjoying science as well.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Starting at a new school last year was very helpful to me in the sense that it was a smaller school and easier to help people one on one when they didn’t understand while the teacher was helping someone else. Made classes go a lot quicker since everyone was able to understand faster.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I would say they need to be able to explain something when you don’t understand so that you can use that knowledge later on when they’re not there. They aren’t good teachers if they do it for you or just let you figure it out on your own.
