I am a junior in college studying finance and Spanish. Throughout my academic career, I have been fortunate to be exposed to a broad realm of studies, including several different AP classes (and exams). I have tutored mostly elementary school age children throughout the years, but am happy to help any age groups. I love to help people recognize their learning potential, better understand material, and become more confident!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I make a point to get to know them personally, and share a bit about myself as well. By understanding their personality, preferred learning styles, and current struggles/goals, I am better equipped to organize a plan with strategies tailored to them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of the subjects I have listed are areas I have abundant experience in. Throughout high school I took several AP classes (all within the last five years) and received at least a 4 on all exams. Additionally, I have kept a lot of my study materials for these exams as well as other classes.areas of study over the years. Now, as a college student, I regularly practice and study areas such as finance, accounting, management, and Spanish. However, I am qualified to help in many other areas due to my experience in high school as well as other electives and divisional requirements I have taken in college.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing depends on what subject(s) I will be teaching, how much preparation time is needed (planning lessons, gathering materials, sometimes grading, etc.), as well as the length of the session.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have mostly worked with middle school aged children that I have also babysat over the years, typically with homework/project help in areas such as math, English, reading, and writing. However, I am comfortable and happy to work with all different age groups and types of students!
