I am willing to do as much as I can to help your children! I want them to find joy in learning and reading so that one day it becomes less of a chore and more of a pleasure! I am a senior at Cardinal Gibbons High School, and I have excelled in my classes (all A's, AP program and honor's program, National Honors Society). I have a specialty in English, grammar, and history, but I can also assist in basic math skills- up to the 6th-grade level. I do have my own vehicle and I have a very flexible schedule, so I can accommodate your family in any way possible! I have extensive experience with children (ages 5-14), as I was, and still am a camp counselor.
I love just love helping and teaching children! As a camp counselor, seeing a child fully understand something and seeing them smile makes my day and makes it all worth it. I have a passion for learning and education, and I want to share that with my students.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Of course I would sit down and really get to know them as a person and a learner. I know through experience that a child's merit is not based on their scores, so I would take the time to figure out their learning style. It's really important and helpful to figure out the tools that work with a student, like if they are more auditory, or tangible learners.

20-30 dollars an hour! Whatever the family is comfortable with works for me!
