I am a National Board Certified Teacher: Exceptional Teacher Specialist with 15 years of classroom experience. I have taught special education for 12 years at the high, middle, and elementary school levels. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work with parents to gain an understanding of what they believe their child needs in order to succeed and grow. I always evaluate students to gain a better understanding of where they are academically. From this collected data I work as a team with parents/teachers to tailor tutoring plans to that child's invidivual academic needs.

Hardin's Tutoring Rates:
Virtual: $35 per hour
Face to face at my location: $40 per hour
Face to face at your location less than 25 miles: $50 per hour
Face to face at your locatoin more than 25 miles: $55 per hour
1/2 hour rates available for virtual and face to face at my location.
How did you get started teaching?
After graduating from Auburn University-Montgomery in December 2005, I moved to North Carolina and began my teaching career at North Davidson Middle School in January 2006 as a 6th grade social studies/science teacher. In 2009 I transitioned to Special Education and have taught Special Education at all levels. In 2018 I became a National Board Certified Teacher: Exceptional Children's Specialist.
