What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All students will be tested to see where they are when they begin working with the tutor. Then students will be tested on their best learning type. This will ensure that the tutor utilizes the best possible strategies for individual sucess. Student will discuss any dislikes about learning and major frustrations.
Apprentice each student in the art of learning through inquiry, creativity, critical thinking, discernment, and wisdom. Provide an education model that honors and supports each student as the unique and creative individuals they were created to be.

How did you get started teaching?
I have taught since 2005; I began my teaching career in the United States Air Force as a Technical Training Instructor and eventually moved into Elementary Education.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
That education happens everyday. We are all students of life. Learning can be as simple as learning how to relax and play for younger learners. For younger students, I build their effacacy (belief) in themselves. This comes through trust and relationship building.
