Math Tutoring Up To Algebra 1

I am a recent graduate from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Microbiology and a minor in Psychology. I have experience working with students through tutoring and mentoring programs, including tutoring at Sylvan Learning Center and working with children at the Boys & Girls Club. I have worked with students of different ages and learning styles, helping them build confidence in subjects such as science, reading, and math.

As a former Division I student-athlete, I understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and strong time management skills. I am enthusiastic and supportive with every student I work with, and my goal as a tutor is not only for students and parents to see improvement academically, but for students to feel confident, motivated, and excited about learning.
