English Tutoring
About
I have a good experience with tutoring childeren younger than me and in my grade level but I have never tutored online so this is new. I want to make the subject English more intersting to students and help them better understand it. I do need the students or parent to tell me what I need to help them with like subject/poetry/book analysis/etc.. I am a high school/college student and I am sixteen years old.
A little about me:
I love english and reading so this is the perfect tutoring job.
I read and write poetry.
I am aspiring to study between Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Social Work but I have not decided just yet.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask about the subject they need help with. I want to keep it professional so trust can be built and they will be more apt to learn. I will then ask what they know about the subject so we can build on top of that informatin whether it is wrong or right. After knowing the extent of their knowledge I will help guide them to help finish the assignment. I will ask a lot of questions just know if they are understanding what I am trying to help them with. If not I will try explaining it again and if that does not work then I will try helping from a different perspective. I am aware that many children learn and think differently so I will try my hardest to meet their needs.
