Thompson Tutoring
About
As a tutor I help each student reach their goals by tailoring the tutoring experience to every student's specific needs. Tutoring sessions typically consist of a review of classroom materials, an application portion, and a review of topics covered. Students also recieve note-taking and study strategies that will improve their ability to comprehend class materials on their own.
My favorite part of tutoring is when students build the confidence to start relying on their own knowledge and skills. Each lesson typically consists of a short lecture or review of class materials, then a application of the material. Seeing students apply what they've learned and build on that knowlede base after every session is truly spectacular!
