Hi! I have several years experience working with kids. I was a nanny through an agency who assisted with homework for two different families for a few years. I also did behavioral therapy for a year with kids 2 to 10. I just moved to Charlotte about a year ago. Since moving here I have been working as a teachers assistant for grades 2nd through high school at a private school for kiddos with learning challenges. I have my bachelors of science in sociology as well as minors in history and political science. I would love to talk to you about the services needed. Please let me know if you have any questions! I even teach teachers how to teach! I like to teach with games and fun activities to help what you learn stick. We will work hard, and we will play hard! My last class had the highest growth in the entire district. I will assess the areas your child needs, develop a specific plan of attack, and teach it with enthusiasm and intent. I have done this before. I do it for the joy of teaching. I am motivated to see that speial look in the eye of the student when the message gets through. A smile usually follows. I am retired and enjoy golf and working with others, helping them learn. I teach and consult to adults and find the world today has been formed by our history. Europe still is important now.

Recent success stories from people in the Charlotte area.
Stella And F.
Lynn has worked with our family for a year and she is simply amazing! She makes learning fun yet challenging for our 12-year-old son. To minimize the summer learning drop, she created a summer enrichment plan and our son was able to start the new school year prepared, and confident, and has even helped other students out. We are so Blessed to have Lynn as our son's tutor. She's more than a tutor to us. Lynn is a part of our family.
