My service stands out because I have an understanding of what the students are going through. Whether the content is confusing and difficult to understand or maybe they have fallen behind, I've been there and can sympathize with that. I know that people learn at all different speeds and it's important to get to know the person you're working with before you jump right in. I always appreciated someone who wanted to get to know me and my learning styles and that is how my service stands out.
I love working with others. It's always been something I love but especially when it means helping someone succeed and understand something. It's so important and having an education has done so much for me that I truly enjoy watching others learn and grow, too.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is always getting to know the student. It is important that they feel comfortable with me and that I get to understanding what their needs are. I like to use games and activities as a way to learn and I make sure I know if that is something good for the student or not.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors Degree in Journalism from Temple University and have worked in fields that require writing for my entire life. I have also been a nanny that was also a tutor for various families.
