I am a retired 2nd grade teacher and tutor with a passion for kids and learning! I was named Teacher of the Year as well as Volunteer of the Year on multiple occasions. I got a degree in early childhood education prior to obtaining a degree in elementary education from Freedom Christian College in Florida. I enjoy children of all ages and find teaching to be fun and exciting!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
After an initial accessment I prefer a variety of inner active activities. I want learning to be fun and feel the child will have a greater desire and interest in learning if it is enjoyable. I also determine how the child best learns and gear activities to fit the student (hearing, seeing, doing, etc.)
