About

"Nicholas connected with Xavier like no other person in all of his years of tutoring... I feel like I can breathe a little bit easier now that we have partnered with Nicholas." — Barbara Edwards, 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5-star Google Review

Is Your Child Behind in Math? Maybe even failing?

Watching your child struggle can leave you feeling hopeless and frustrated. You imagine the impact on their academic journey and self-esteem if these challenges continue unaddressed. You know the gaps in their understanding will only widen, making it harder for them to catch up, affecting not just grades but their overall attitude towards learning and personal growth.

I was that kid.

In middle school I almost failed math. But, with the right help I turned it around and went on to get a Master's in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics. Now I specialize in doing the same for others.

⚠️Because I offer UNLIMITED SESSIONS to all of my students, I only work with a limited number of students nationwide, and my program fills up quickly. I am usually on a wait list, so reach out ASAP to reserve your teen's spot.⚠️

I've helped hundreds of kids get back on track, and I can help your kid too. Reach out today to start the journey!

Our sons grade in math went from a C- to an A! We were thrilled and it has given our son more confidence and true math comprehension. I wasnt sure if I would like remote tutoring online especially during Covid, but it has worked really well. Nicholas has an easygoing manner and been great to work with.... definitely would recognize him!!

NIck is no-nonsense but still warm and approachable. He figures out essentially now the students Math brain works, and where they might have missed some building blocks, and basically rehabilitates their Math skills. Our son, and we, highly recommend him!

My son was really struggling with Math his 5th year and now 6th. I didnt like how he would use negative words to express how he felt he was at math. Ever since Noah began working with Nicholas his attitude and work has improved tremendously, he feels good about his work and looks like he is having fun. Nicholas has helped my son restored some of that confidence he had lost about Math and we are thrilled and very proud.

Very nice and cares about child. A bit expensive for 45 minutes but he takes time to prepare for the lesson ahead of time.

Nicolas tailors his teaching to each student. He was able to peel back the areas my son needed more guidance on and focus time there until he was able to move on. He has great communication skills to be able to relate and teach precalc to a 16 yr old boy!

I have a very unconventional primary education. My math skills were weak and I had developed anxiety around math. In order to graduate college I needed math beyond my capabilities. Nicolas’s teaching style completely eases my anxiety and enables me to learn. Now my son meets with Nicolas for tutoring as well. I dreaded trying to get my 14 year old with Aspergers to participate in academic tutoring. Nicolas is very in tune with his student’s learning styles and tailors his teaching style accordingly. I can’t even communicate how grateful I am to find this much needed instruction from Nicolas. In fact you’ll be lucky if you can even get an appointment with him. Between myself, my son and all my friends I’ve told about him, he’ll probably be perpetually booked.

    Frequently asked questions

First I have a conversation with the parent and/or student to determine if we would be a good fit for each other.

The next step would be to take my assessment, to see where they currently stand, and where the gaps in their knowledge are.

Then we get started! They will receive customized assignments based on where they currently stand, and they will have UNLIMITED SUPPORT from me along the way.

As we progress, they will receive ongoing assessments and reports showing progress, and areas for continued improvement.

It's hard for me to believe, but I've been teaching for over twenty years! I got started tutoring in high school. Then in college I was asked by my professors to tutor peers that weren't doing as well.

I taught throughout grad school, and I went on to teach in colleges and high schools. Ultimately though, I found meeting the needs of each student individually was my passion.

I have worked with middle and high school students, as well as college students of various ages and backgrounds. While many of my students have specific learning disabilities, I believe all learners benefit from an individualized approach.
