About this tutor

B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Economics

Tutored on and off in person for nearly 10 years through college and after graduating.

I'm very personable and understanding, easy to connect with, and I have excellent communication skills.

I struggled with many subjects in school as well, so I know what it's like to need help myself.

I love solving problems. Whether it's peoples motivation problems, mental road blocks, anxiety about learning, or just difficulty grasping new concepts. I'm interested in helping people learn better ways to learn. Math is supposed to be hard, so lets get better together.

I enjoyed how we can easily connected on the topic of college calculus 1. I was behind a few weeks but he got me completely caught up in 1! He has lots of interactive methods of working online together so you can really get immersed and understand the topics. Awesome tutor, really kind and funny!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Opening up comfortable lines on communication.

The best way to learn is when we are comfortable. I will find something that we are both interested in and will relate concepts to those topics in order to make abstract ideas easy to digest. Math is in everything, and when made relatable, it becomes much simpler.
