Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to talk with the parents and student about their interests, skills, and needs. I then like to work with the parents and student to come up with a studying plan that will benefit everyone.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am in my senior year at Montana State University for an Early Childhood Education and Child Servies - Preschool through 3rd-grade option with a reading teacher minor.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically do about $20-$25 an hour depending on location, subject, and details involved in tutoring. However, I am willing to talk and work out something reasonable for both of us.
How did you get started teaching?
In high school I volunteered in the daycare in the school, I enjoyed it so much that I decided I want to become a teacher for early elementary school.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with preschool students, kindergarten students, and special needs students. I have also work with children 2 through 5-year-olds for the last 8 years.
