Dee's Tutoring Serv Ice

I am a seasoned teacher, having 31 years of classroom teaching experience. I have both a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in curriculum design and instruction. I have taught students from 3 years old to sixth grade. I spent 10 years teaching third grade, 4 years in second grade and 17 teaching Science to 5-6 graders. I am a grandmother to 9 babies… 6 boys and 3 girls. I have tutored students and grandchildren in areas of Math and Reading. My hobbies include gardening, taking care of a small hobby farm, spending time with family and the beach. I love music and play the piano. I love children and animals. I also trained my Golden Doodle and Golden Retriever, both of which are therapy dogs. They LOVE visiting with kids and have been to school with me for that purpose. I believe my gift of teaching and experience will be proof enough that I can help any child in areas where they need help. I love using multiple ways of teaching math concepts that help make math “real”. I always want to give the best of myself to helping others learn and love learning.
