I'm a senior journalism, french and history major, so I am actively learning more every day. I love learning and have always acceled in school. As salutatorian of my higschool and a Presidential scholar at USM, school is very important to me. Most importantly, I respect the process of learning, and I love helping others connect the dots and learn new things. Last semester, I worked for USM as an athletic tutor. Through challenging times, my determination has gotten me through. I'd love to connect and potentially help you accel in whatever you need.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know a student and what exactly is challenging them. Then, I will look at work the student has and go from there. We can work it together, and when there is an issue, we can talk about it, look up examples, etc. I also can look over old work to see any potential improvements there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a senior studying journalism, history, and French at USM. I have always enjoyed school and acceled in it. In high school, I often stayed after school to help other students who were struggling. Last semester, I tutored for USM's athletic department.
What types of students have you worked with?
Academically, I have worked with people my own age. However, I am comfortable around children and have experience around people with special needs.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would search for someone understanding and compassionate of the struggles school can present. I have always been a very positive and compassionate person, and I'm willing to work with any level of learning!
