About
My business stands out because I have been in your shoes!
I once was the student that hated math! I didn't understand it made no sense! WHY!? Well, then my life changed because of one teacher who made the difference! She made it simple, easy and answered all my questions!
Due to her changing my beliefs with math, I grew to love it and excel at it! I knew then that I wanted to become a math teacher to help others the way she helped me!
I have spent 4 years in education! For two years I was at the elementary level teaching math and science to 3rd and 4th graders. I currently teach Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 to Freshman!
I love what I do! I like to make math easy and simple to understand by answering 3 questions; What, Why and How!!
I explain what we are going to do, why we are doing it and how to get the job done! I do all of this a fun way so that the information sticks and you can be successful!!
Certifications: Bachelors in Elementary Education, Middle School Mathematics Endorsement, Minor in Psychology and am currently finishing my Secondary Mathematics certification.
