I understand what it takes to do well in school. It is important to have a tutor that understands where you are coming from and where you are headed. I can be your guide through this process with years of various math experiences from addition to mathematics in chemistry.
I enjoy it when students understand what I am trying to teach them and they are able to use the information on various different problems that arise. It is important to take the knowledge you have and to have the insight to convert that information into the situation you need.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I understand where the student currently sits with what they understand and what they struggle with and we figure out where they are trying to go. It is important to find the proper path to the goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two bachelor's degrees: (1) Biology and (2) Biochemistry & Biotechnology as well as a minor in Chemistry and I am currently attending Maryville University for an M.S. in Data Science.
How did you get started teaching?
I want to help students learn and take some burden away from teachers/parents in this troubling time.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have primarily worked with high school and college students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You want a teacher that is able to connect the dots for you.
