About
I am a certified K-12 teacher. I have extensive tutoring experience with most subjects, specializing in Math and Spanish tutoring. I started tutoring in college in 2003. I taught High School Spanish for 13 years from 2005-2018. During that time, I led the after school tutoring program. I tutored students who were struggling as well as students who just wanted to get an edge for college readiness.
From 2018-present, I have been homeschooling my own children, tailoring their education to their needs. This has allowed them to be years ahead in math and reading. I have also actively taught and tutored in the community.
As a tutor, my goal is to get to know you, the student, and tailor my teaching style to suit you best. I want to see you succeed and even excel in your education. I love teaching. My passion as a teacher is to find what makes the information click for each individual student. There is no such thing as a one size fits all education. Each person has their own unique strengths. My job is to make those strengths shine through for you, giving you the confidence you need to open the doors of your future.
