What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Having a conversation with the student to find out how they best learn and where they are at in the subject.

I have tutored at two different colleges in the past.

I normally charge $25.00 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always been good at math and people in my class in high school came to me for help.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages, most backgrounds including autism
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a student that had been struggling with her math. When she took her test and told me she passed, she did a happy dance while jumping with joy.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone that cares if you succeed in your work.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What part of the material they are struggling with, what way they learn best, and what kind of support they are needing.
