I teach 4th grade in an urban school in Missouri, but live in Gardner, KS. I am not your typical ‘sit in your seat and be quiet’ teacher. I want the kids talking and moving! After 18 years I still love my job!!!
As I stated above I still love my job after 18 years. I enjoy building relationships with students that will continue for years to follow. I attend previous students’ graduations and games when asked. I truly enjoy ‘the light bulb moments’ when students start to understand a concept.
