About
Hi, my name is Juan Moore. I am an aspiring novelist, short story writter, and story teller. All my life I have had a passion for reading stories of times long lost and of places filled with wonder. That passion brought me untold opportunities and knowledge. I currently run a stream where I do cooperative story telling with some of my closest friends. I hope to share my knowledge and experience to you and your student.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start off by taking some time with the student to determine what the expectations are between us. After that I will go through some exercises to see what methods lead to the most beneficial learning experience. Finally when the session comes to an end we will take a few minutes to voice any concerns or general feedback that we might have for each other.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have not been formally trained to teach english, or creative writing. I do however have experience in writing speeches, essays and stories in official capacities.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I normally ask for 10$ an hour for any number of hours if scheduled in advance. I will do 12.50 an hour for emergency or last minute sessions. I do allow my students to text, call, or email me if they are in need of a question answered. Rate is rounded to the nearest half.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always enjoyed helping others understand and learn about topics I myself am passionate about.
What types of students have you worked with?
I normally work with students who are in need of specific short term help.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently held a workshop with some friends and colleagues on the principles of painting a scene using as few words as possible. Seeing the stories and scenes they created brought me a great amount of laughter and joy.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
