I'm an accomplished writer and a good teacher. I enjoy helping people and love tutoring. I tutored previously in Algebra 1 and English, so I have experience in what it takes to help children truly grasp a concept and apply it in their work and exams. I'm willing to listen to your child and give them the help they truly need.
I enjoy seeing the shift from grades that could be better to grades that are better. I feel great when I help people learn, because I might make a difference in their life, a positive difference. Change starts with every individual, and helping people makes me feel like I'm changing the world for the better.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by viewing students' sample essays and figuring out their style of writing, their strengths, and their weaknesses. Each person has a unique style of writing, and I try not to change the way a student writes, but strengthen it instead. After reading the work, I go over the rules for writing with the student and help them based on their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took honors English and have always been a good writer in the past. Most of my previous teachers complimented my work and used it as an example in the class. I taught other students how to write as well, and it really helped them with their grades. I also took some essay-writing and poem-writing courses, and I entered a lot of poetry contests and won the one at my school.
