Samantha Collins

Hi there! My name is Samantha, and I'm currently working as a middle school science teacher (7th and 8th grade). I am also in the midst of my graduate program at the University of St. Thomas working towards for masters in education on the chemistry pathway. One of my biggest strengths in teaching and tutoring is being able to communicate about mental processes and emotions, which aids in my ability to support students in their learning process. Listening to you and your experience with the learning process is a big part of what makes me successful in what I do. I am enthusiastic about learning and life in general, and want to ensure you not only learn the content, but that you are feeling confident in your ability to take on any challenge! My hobbies include reading, writing, dancing, being with my cats, connecting with friends and family, and going on walks to find cool trees and flowers. As for school, my favorite subjects have always been science, math and psychology - but I truly enjoy supporting in any subject!
