College Tutors offers tutoring services to provide academic support from remedial to Advanced Placement program development for students pre-K to 12th grade, including ACT/SAT prep. All of our tutoring is one-on-one and customized to each student with their success in mind. We start with trained tutors or certified teachers and combine them with the required tools to perform excellent tutoring that makes a difference in the classroom and on report cards. We provide homework help which has an immediate impact on confidence, grades, test taking, and general enjoyment of school.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our tutors are either currently in college or already graduated with their college degrees. They've maintained a high GPA throughout their college coursework and have prior teaching or tutoring experience. For our ACT prep tutors, they have scored 30 or above on their own ACT, and then go through training with us on the test, the content and strategies. We also look for good personalities so that the tutors can relate to their students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We have a pay-as-you-go payment system. There are no contract for hours and no minimum number of hours. We do all of our tutoring at an hourly rate. Depending on the service, the hourly rate ranges from $65-75 per hour.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with students of all ages from students from K-12. We have also worked with students in a variety of subjects (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading, Writing, ACT/SAT Prep, and more!).
