Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
There will be a free 10-15 minute call to discuss what the student is hoping to get out of our sessions and how they would like to proceed.
If it isn't the right fit I will direct them to some online resources to tide them over until they can find a tutor.
If it is the right fit we will schedule our sessions and start learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Lakeville North Highschool summa cum laude having taken AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, and AP Physics. I also won multiple awards through their mock trial program. I then went to Lakehead University for Civil Engineering. Throughout the required courses I used a combination of calculus, math, and physics for almost every class. While I was at Lakehead I won first place for an ethics presentation. I graduated from Lakehead in the spring of 2019. Since graduating I have presented at 3 conferences and hope to continue doing so throughout my career.
