Hello, I have worked in the highschool for the last 8 years as an AVID tutor. AVID is a college prep class. I have worked with 9-12 graders. I have tutored any highschool subject. I am well versed in intermediate algebra and geometry. I have also tutored a 5th grader to help with general studies.

I get to know the student and get to know what learning style works best for them. Are they an auditory, visual or a hands on learner. Once I know that I adapted the learning to what works best for them
