    Frequently asked questions

I initially start by getting to know the student and their goals. Figure out what they already know and what they need to learn. We then develop a plan together to achieve their learning goals.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Concordia University, St. Paul and curretly enrolled in a Masters of Science in Mathematical Sciences at USD.

    $7 per 15 min & $25/hr for online tutoring

    $40/hr for in person tutoring

As an internship during my undergraduate studies

    All ages; elementary to advanced

Helped one of my students get a score on their test that they were proud of.

Find a tutor that you're comfortable with.

You can't be afraid to ask questions or worry about looking stupid. You hinder yourself when you have this fear.

I know the feeling because I've been a student too.

You can learn a lot more if you're comfortable making mistakes in front of your tutor.

What math subjects are you focusing on? What are the specific topics in these math subjects?

    Ex.

Algebra-Factoring polynomials, completing the square, solve for the roots, etc.
