My goal is to help you see your potential. I'm working towards my Masters in Mathematical Sciences and even I get stuck sometimes.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I initially start by getting to know the student and their goals. Figure out what they already know and what they need to learn. We then develop a plan together to achieve their learning goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Concordia University, St. Paul and curretly enrolled in a Masters of Science in Mathematical Sciences at USD.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a tutor that you're comfortable with.
You can't be afraid to ask questions or worry about looking stupid. You hinder yourself when you have this fear.
I know the feeling because I've been a student too.
You can learn a lot more if you're comfortable making mistakes in front of your tutor.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What math subjects are you focusing on? What are the specific topics in these math subjects?
Ex.
Algebra-Factoring polynomials, completing the square, solve for the roots, etc.
