I am currently working as licensed physics and math teacher. I have over 5 years of teaching experience. I teach Physics, AP Computer Science, and Engineering (PLTW). I have MS degree in Physics Education. I will make sure you understand the concept, rather than just the solution. Most the time, missing piece is understanding why we do, rather than what we do; which results in short term memorization.
During our tutoring, I will make sure the content is clear before jumping into questions.
I enjoy clarifying the content and making students love the subject. I believe it matters most, since students' success is very related with the judgment and belief they have for it.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before the first meeting, I woul like to know the content I will cover, and if is there any textbook etc you are following. This gives me an idea how advanced I should cover the topic.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have MI Physics and Mathematics professional licence. I do also cerificates required to teach AP Computer Science and PLTW Introduction to Engineering.

High school physics / math $40 per hour. AP Physics / Calculus $50 per hour.
