I was in education for 45 years, 25 as an elemenary teacher and 20 as an elementary principal. Since I retired I have been working with a University to supervise student teachers.
I have served on the local School Board for 10 years, as secretary, vice president and president and I am, currently, a director on the Education Foundation.

Dianne is an excellent and skilled reading and writing tutor. She has so much experience. My son has a lot of educational challenges and also has a difficult time trusting people. He took to Dianne the very first session and is noticeably improving after just a few sessions. I hope we will be able to continue weekly sessions through the school year. I was initially a little concerned about how he would do with a remote zoom session but Dianne is so creative and was able to utilize a number of tactics to keep him engaged. I am very impressed and happy!

Any guidance and questions on how we can support are answered with just enough tips without being overwhelming. First, and foremost, getting to know and understand the student. Forming a connection and relationship is essential.
