Math & Computer Science Tutoring - Anay Modi

Hi! My name is Anay, and I’m a math, computer science, and standardized test tutor who recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a BSE in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. I was a high school valedictorian and National Merit Finalist, and I have 2+ years of experience tutoring K–12 students across a wide range of curricula. I currently work as a software engineer at Stripe and have previously worked at Epic Systems and as a machine learning researcher at U-M, giving me strong real-world context for the material I teach. My teaching philosophy focuses on helping students learn how to learn by building intuition, problem-solving skills, and curiosity, so they become confident and independent learners. I genuinely enjoy teaching, am excited to support students at any level, and am always open to feedback to make sessions as effective as possible.
