I am a certified teacher and graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Elementary Education. I have my Masters of Arts in Teaching Reading and Language Arts with an additional endorsement as a K-12 reading specialist. I have been teaching in K-2 for 12 years.
I love helping students through their learning process and seeing the smile of joy when they understand they can do it!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will first conduct small assessments and questions to assess where the student is at in his/her learning. I will then proceed to create a plan to assist the student in their learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Michigan State University in 2007. I then recieved a Masters degree in Teaching Reading and Language Arts with an additional endorsement as a K-12 Reading Specialist. I have been teaching 1st and 2nd grade for the past 12 years.

Pricing will depend on what each individual student will need. Pricing is anywhere from $35-$50 per hour.
