About
I have been tutoring math and physics at all levels up to calc 1 for about 10 years through the end of high school, all of college, and during my professional career. I graduated from the University of Michigan College of Engineering in April 2018 with a major in mechanical engineering and a minor in electrical engineering. I currently live in Royal Oak. I have been working as a mechanical engineer in Warren for the past 4 years. I know that many students are struggling right now with the fact that a lot of schooling was moved online and then back to in person. I know many students would want to be caught up over the summer and at the beginning of a new school year so that they do not fall behind. I have a lot of experience with middle school and high school students in person and virtually, and I am looking forward to tutoring any and all students that may need it.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I have a new student, I like to start by going over whatever topics they are currently working on. I will help them work through any problems they have, and come up with more similar examples as necessary until I and they feel that all topics are fully understood.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
During high school I was a part of National Honors Society, where I did a lot of tutoring, and I loved it. Since high school I have been private tutoring many students, primarily in math, at all levels.
Studying at the Univeristy of Michigan College of Engineering, I took many advnaced math and physics courses, which helped solidify my already very strong math knowledge base.
I have been working as an engineer at the Ground Vehicle Systems Center in Warren, MI for the past four years working on Tactical Army Vehicles.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My typical rate is $60/hour with a 1 hour minimum, booking by 15 minute slots after that. I will always be more than happy to continue the session past the scheduled time assuming I do not have another student or a prior commitment immediately following, which I will always let you know of ahead of time.
