Ms. Kostecki’s High School Math Virtual Tutoring

I will be in my 27th year as a high school math teacher in August 2022 and have a valid Michigan teaching certificate. Math is and always has been my passion. I thrive on the challenge of looking for x. I am able to guide students to make connections with prior knowledge so they understand what skills are necessary and how to use them. I am a firm believer that understanding is critical for success and memorization is not needed nor productive. I am a huge proponent of paper and pencil. It frees up the mind to process and analyze. I look forward to assisting you on your in school or online mathematical journey.

I enjoy the challenge and rigors of math. I recognize that not everyone feels that way. I strive to help others overcome their fear and anxiety associated with math. I am available via Zoom or other platform as well as outdoors (weather permitting) to stay safe during remote learning. I tutor in the following subjects: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus.
