Math, Science, And College Application Test Tutoring
About
My goal is to provide the greatest possible learning resource to my students. My goal is never to have the student simply reach an answer and memorize how to do it on the test. I want them to understand how and why we use certain equations or go through certain steps so that when they come to a situation that cannot be solved by a mere equation, they can use logic to find the answer.
I have been tutoring for about 2 years in most AP topics and in the SAT, ACT, and SAT Subject Tests. I have seen over 40% increases in class grades, 10-20 point ACT gains, and 100-200 point gains on the SAT. If you are in need of a tutor for a subject that I haven't listed, feel free to text me at (248) 974-8023 and tell me the subject and I can see if I can help you with it.
I got a 35/36 (99th percentile) on the ACT, a 1530/1600 (99th percentile) on the SAT, an 800/800 on the Chemistry SAT II, a 770/800 on the World History SAT II, am a National Merit Commended Scholar, and I have a 4.5 weighted GPA (4.0 unweighted). I also have gotten a 5/5 on the following AP tests: Computer Science Principles, Chemistry, Calculus AB, Psychology, World History, and English Language and Composition.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first evaluate their current strengths and weaknesses with a diagnostic test. After that, I review what they already know, what they need some help on, and what they need to learn from scratch. I then create a 100% personalized schedule of topics to cover based on their availability and time restrictions.
