I graduated from Michigan State Univeristy in May of 2019. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a teaching major in Language Arts and a teaching minor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages in 2019. I am certified to teach All Subjects K-5, Language Arts K-8, and ESL K-8.
I have immersed myself in multiple diverse experiences. I began my teaching career working as an assistant teacher at an early childhood center for 8 years. I then went on to complete over eighty hours of field work in various elementary schools through Michigan State University. I also completed a three-month long study abroad program teaching in Japan. I also completed a year-long teaching internship, I strongly believe that the skills and knowledge I have acquired will benefit your child in the area of support they need.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I begin working with a new student, it is very important for me to first develop a relationship with this student and get to know them. I like to hear about their background, interests, languages they are familiar with, academic history, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the College of Education at Michigan State Univeristy and am certified to teach All Subjects K-5, Language Arts K-8, and ESL K-5.
How did you get started teaching?
I began my teaching career about 10 years ago at an Early Childhood Center. I worked there for 8 years, then completed my degreee in Elementary Education.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with Early Childhood, ESL, and Elementary age students.
