About
My name is Ling Ling Rush. I graduated from NorthWest University in China with two degrees. One is in Television and Radio Host and the other is in English Literature. I have worked in television announcing NEWS and hosting TV programs for over 10 years. Before I came to the USA, I worked in the largest language training center in Shanghai, China as the Director of the teaching department. I had the experience of teaching foreign exchange university students Chinese language in FuDan University. I am fluent in both English and Chinese. I hold an international teaching certification as well as an advanced interpretation certificate. I previously interpreted Chinese/English for the Chinese Embassy during the Obama Administration. Currently I interpret Chinese/English for the courts and teach various age groups and ethnicity Chinese and English language, SAT, TOEFL and IELTS.
I take great joy in making a difference with my students through teaching them language. Nothing makes me happier than the pride they possess then they succeed. It adds great meaning to my life to enrich their lives and experience.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I evaluate each new student’s level of ability. Then according to their level I give them straightforward instructions for what they need to accomplish. I have a structured curriculum that ensures my students meet the standards for each subject and make sure that they pass the standardized exams. To meet these goals, I provide them with the curriculum, a school textbook and test preparation materials.
