Maria Irimie Writing Tutoring
About
Writing has always had a space close to my heart, and I believe it is still a skill vital to education and success. However, I also know that many students cannot grasp the writing process easily, and are told time after time that their writing is not good enough.
Through exercises in ratiocination, peer review, as well as the study of common essay structures, I intend to improve both the quality of your student's writing ability as well as their enjoyment of the writing process. Thank you!
ABOUT ME:
I am a college student studying engineering at Michigan State University. I graduated from Washtenaw International High School with both my high school diploma and an International Baccalaureate Diploma. The IB program I completed required me to write long formal papers on all of my school subjects, including classes like mathematics, spanish, economics, and chemistry, as well as history and literature. Additionally, I had to independently complete a brief thesis paper (about 4000 words) on a topic of my choosing. I received the highest mark possible on most of my papers, and did well in the program as a whole.
I look forward to working with your student!
